Rebecca graduated from Cambridge in 1994. She then spent several years in small animal general practice where she obtained the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons certificate in Small Animal medicine. In 1997 Rebecca went to the Royal Veterinary College to complete a PhD. This work examined the role of gut mucosal immunity in German shepherd dogs. Rebecca joined the internal medicine team at Davies Veterinary Specialists in September 2003. Her interests include all aspects of internal medicine but especially gastrointestinal and immune mediated disease. Update: January 2008, Rebecca is no longer a member of our team, we wish her all the best in her future career.
