Leading Soft Tissue Surgery Specialist joins Davies

One of the UK’s leading Soft Tissue Specialists has joined Davies Veterinary Specialists.

Zoë Halfacree not only enhances the practice’s sizeable soft tissue surgery team but also brings substantial sustainability experience to Davies, as the chair of the greener veterinary practice working group, Vet Sustain.

Zoë graduated from Cambridge in 2001 and spent two years at a small animal practice before moving to the Queen Mother Hospital for Animals at the Royal Veterinary College (RVC). She completed a general small animal internship followed by a Senior Clinical Training Scholarship in Small Animal Surgery and went on to become a Senior Lecturer in Small Animal Surgery and Head of Soft Tissue Surgery at the RVC. She holds RCVS Certificates in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging and Small Animal Surgery and is a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons. She joined Linnaeus-owned Davies in October 2020.

Zoë has completed the Cambridge Institute of Sustainable Leadership course and was appointed chair of the Vet Sustain working group to coordinate sustainability collaborations amongst veterinary professionals and societies. As a member of Vet Sustain’s curriculum working group Zoë is actively involved with supporting sustainability initiatives at UK veterinary schools and she continues to work with the RVC in a number of capacities.
