Intern - Diagnostic Imaging
Ana graduated from the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD), Portugal, in 2021. After two years in small animal practice in Portugal, where she completed postgraduate training in ultrasonography and echocardiography, she moved to the UK in 2024 to complete a rotating internship at the University of Liverpool Small Animal Teaching Hospital, further developing her interest in diagnostic imaging.
Since 2025, Ana has worked as an Imaging-Biased Veterinary Surgeon in a 24-hour emergency and referral hospital. She is currently finishing the CertAVP in Diagnostic Imaging, is an active member of EAVDI, and has published peer-reviewed imaging research. Ana is excited to be joining Davies Veterinary Specialists to further develop her skills and pursue a career in veterinary radiology.
