After graduating from the University of Queensland, Australia in 2007, Anne completed both a small animal rotating and small animal surgery internship in private practice. In 2009 Anne undertook a three-year small animal surgery residency at Murdoch University, Australia, during which she developed a passion for veterinary neurology. Upon completing her surgical training, Anne commenced a three-year veterinary neurology and neurosurgery residency at the University of Melbourne, Australia. While at the University of Melbourne Anne undertook a research masters investigating biomarkers to aid the diagnosis and classification of canine gliomas. In 2016 Anne moved to the United Kingdom and received her ECVN diploma. She was a member of the ECVN Executive Committee for 5 years from 2019 to 2024.
