I graduated from the University of the West of England in 2006 with a BSc(Hons) degree in Veterinary Nursing Science and gained valuable experience in a busy 24 hour first opinion hospital before joining the Davies team in 2012. I enjoy the varied role of nursing at Davies and have experience supervising in the wards, diagnostics and theatre teams, and went on to become a diagnostics supervisor. When the opportunity of becoming Head Nurse for the Flexi Team came up I knew I wanted to be involved in nursing in all areas again, whilst also ensuring sufficient nurse cover was available for the practice needs. I have led a fantastic team of nurses who rotate through all areas and maintain our high standards. This role led me to be involved in nurse training, becoming Clinical Coach to our student nurses and also assisting with the inductions of new nurses. I have recently been appointed Training Manager for the nursing team and am looking forward to the next chapter in my career and helping our nurses achieve their goals and continue to provide high standards of care for our patients.
