Johnny (Ioannis) Plessas

Johnny graduated from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece in 2005 and spent three years working as a general practitioner in England before starting a rotating internship at Queen’s Veterinary School Hospital, University of Cambridge. In 2011 he began a residency in Neurology and Neurosurgery at the Royal Veterinary College and in 2014 after successfully passing his exams, he was awarded the Diploma of the European College of Veterinary Neurology (ECVN). Johnny joined Davies Veterinary Specialists in the same year and in 2018 he became the Chairperson of the Education Committee of the ECVN College. Johnny enjoys dealing with many aspects of Neurology and Neurosurgery, he has been the main author and co-author of numerous publications and he lectures in the UK and abroad. Outside work, Johnny has a passion for gardening, learning foreign languages, travelling and spending quality time with his pets; Chilli -the naughty Terrier- and Phoebe -the demanding Birman cat.
