After graduating with honours from Perugia University in 2016, Luca moved to Liverpool University where he started a scholarship in Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine. Following this experience, Luca moved to a busy first opinion practice before undergoing a small animal rotating internship at the Animal Health Trust in Newmarket, followed by a residency in Small Animal Oncology at Cambridge University. Luca published several articles and presented to national and international congresses. In April 2023 Luca became a specialist in Small Animal Oncology.
