Vincent graduated in 2008 from the University of Nantes (France). Following graduation, he performed a small animal internship in a private practice in Bordeaux (France). He moved to the UK in 2009. He did a six-month externship in a small animal surgery at a referral hospital in London where he published a case report in JAVMA (peer reviewed journal) on a transitional cell carcinoma of the ductus deferens in a dog. After working in general practice in Lincolnshire, he underwent a small animal rotating internship at the University of Cambridge in 2011. During his internship, he worked on a project to develop a specific locking plate to treat canine proximal tibial fractures. This project was presented at the ECVS congress in July 2014 in Copenhagen (International conference). Vincent completed a three-year residency in small animal surgery and a clinical master degree (MVetMed) at the RVC (University of London). During his residency, he published a paper in JSAP (peer reviewed journal) on tympanostomy tubes to treat middle ear effusion in dogs. He became a European specialist in small animal surgery in February 2016 when he passed his qualifying examination for the ECVS (European College of Veterinary Surgeons). After working at two referral hospitals as a soft tissue surgeon and then as an orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeon, he joined Davies Veterinary Specialists to work as an orthopaedic specialist in February 2020. He particularly enjoys fracture repair, stifle surgery and elbow arthroscopy. In his free time, Vincent enjoys walking his two Labradors Lola and Bruno with his fiancée Lauren and his young son Elliot.
